Destination cluster build for a DMC selling multi-day Egypt itineraries into European and North American markets.
Work / Ibis Egypt Tours
Ibis Egypt Tours holds the credentials international travellers look for and sells into four separate source markets. What it needed was a site that put that proof where each market could see it, in the language they actually read.
The challenge
Ibis Egypt Tours carries the two things an international traveller checks before they hand over a deposit to an operator on the other side of the world: IATA and ASTA membership. Those aren't decorative badges — they're the difference between a booking and a bounce for a first-time visitor to Egypt.
But the proof was doing none of the work. It sat where nobody looked, and the site spoke to every visitor in the same language regardless of which market they came from. A traveller comparing operators from four different countries was being asked to trust a page that wasn't built for them.
The brief was to make one operator legible to four separate audiences at once — without splitting into four disconnected sites that each start their SEO from zero.
The approach
The build
The multilingual structure was designed first, not bolted on. hreflang, language versions and the shared destination architecture were decided before a single screen was styled — because that layer determines whether four markets pull together on one domain or quietly cannibalise each other.
Every tour page carries proper structured data and a consistent booking path in each language, so the credentials, the pricing logic and the call to action stay identical whether a traveller arrives from London, New York or anywhere else. Performance was treated as a build requirement, not a phase at the end.
The result is a site where the same proof of trust reaches every market at the moment of decision. That's the whole mechanism. An operator wins a cross-border booking by being legible and credible in the visitor's own language — not by hoping they'll translate the page themselves.
