Can your site actually take a booking?
Sixteen honest yes-or-no questions. Tick what's true of your site today and you'll get a score, a verdict, and the specific gaps costing you direct bookings.
A travel website is booking-ready when a traveller can see a price in their own currency, check availability, and complete the booking without leaving the site — and when every tour exists as its own indexable page that Google and AI crawlers can read. Most Egyptian travel sites fail on the first point alone.

Scored by impact, not equally — a hidden price costs more bookings than a missing team photo. Nothing is sent anywhere; this runs entirely in your browser.
Questions
About this scorecard.
What score should we be aiming for?
Above 80 means you're genuinely competing with the platform listing of your own tour. Between 50 and 80, you're leaking bookings at identifiable points. Below 50, the site is a brochure and no amount of traffic will fix that.
We take bookings by WhatsApp and it works fine.
It works while your office is open and while someone is watching the phone. It doesn't work at 11pm on a Tuesday when a traveller in Sydney is deciding. That's the booking you never hear about.
Do we really need prices public?
For day tours and transfers, yes — the traveller expects it and the OTA gives it. For high-value custom itineraries, a from-price plus a strong enquiry flow often converts better than a full checkout.
Why does AI crawler access matter for bookings?
Because a growing share of travellers now ask an assistant who to book with rather than searching a list. If your content is invisible to those crawlers, you're not in the answer at all.
