For Nile cruises still selling from a PDF.

A cruise is the highest-value thing an Egyptian operator sells, with the longest research window and the most anxious buyer. It's also the product most often hidden behind a downloadable brochure and a contact form.

Nile cruise inventory sells direct when itinerary length, boat category, cabin type and departure port each exist as a searchable page with real availability and pricing — rather than as a PDF brochure and an enquiry form that answers in two days.

Sound familiar

What we hear in the first call

  • !Sailings, cabin categories and routes live in a PDF, so Google can rank none of them and travellers can compare none of them.
  • !A traveller deciding between a four-night and a seven-night sailing has to email you to find out what the difference costs.
  • !Empty cabins on a shoulder-season sailing get dumped to an OTA at the last minute, at the worst possible rate.
  • !The dahabiya you're proudest of is described in the same forty words as everything else.

The highest-value thing you sell is the thing hidden behind a download button.

What we change

Six moves, in this order

01 Sailings as pagesItinerary length, boat category, route and departure port each built as an indexable page with schema and real pricing.
02 Cabin-level clarityCategories, deck plans and what the price difference actually buys — the questions that decide a cruise booking.
03 Anxiety answered earlyFirst-time Nile cruisers have specific fears. Content that answers them is content that ranks and converts.
04 Shoulder-season demandSearch and paid work aimed at the booking window for the sailings that don't fill themselves.
05 Allocation visibilityCabins held, sold and released tracked in Travora, so you stop discovering an empty sailing a week out.
06 Dahabiya positioningSmall boats compete on character, not on deck count. The site has to say what makes yours different.

Questions

Before you ask.

We charter to operators, we don't sell to travellers. Does this apply?

Partly. Even a charter business benefits from being findable and credible — operators research boats too, and travellers who arrive with a boat in mind change the conversation.

Should we publish prices publicly?

In most cases yes, at least a from-price by cabin category. A traveller who can't judge cost leaves to find someone whose price they can judge — usually an OTA listing of your boat.

How far ahead do people book Nile cruises?

Long — often several months, sometimes a year for peak season. That's why planning-stage content matters more here than in day tours, and why the payoff is slower but larger.

What about AI search for cruises?

This is one of the strongest cases for it. “Which Nile cruise should I book” is exactly the open-ended question travellers now ask an assistant instead of a search engine.
