Easy Transfer 247
High-volume transfer and day-tour desk: route pages that rank, and a booking path short enough to survive an airport queue.
Work / Egypt Accessible Travel
Egypt Accessible Travel builds trips for travellers with mobility and access needs. The site selling those trips wasn't built to the same standard — the exact people it served couldn't always use it. We rebuilt it to WCAG, with the practical access detail travellers actually search for.
The challenge
Accessible travel is a specific promise: step-free routes, the right transfer vehicle, ground-floor rooms, guides who know which sites a wheelchair can actually reach. The product delivered on it. The website didn't.
The travellers this company serves are the ones most likely to browse with a screen reader, keyboard navigation, or high-contrast settings — and the old site assumed none of that. A booking flow you can't complete without a mouse quietly turns away the exact customer the business exists for.
There was a second gap. Travellers with access needs don't search the way everyone else does. They look for the practical detail — "step-free Pyramids tour", "wheelchair accessible Nile cruise" — and that detail was nowhere a search engine could find it. The brief was to make the site as accessible as the tours, in both senses of the word.
The approach
The build
Strategy, design, build and content came from the same team. For an accessibility project that matters twice over: the design decisions and the code decisions are the accessibility decisions, and splitting them across agencies is how sites end up with an overlay widget standing in for real conformance.
Built on custom WordPress with semantic markup and dedicated tour post types, so every tour carries structured data, a keyboard-navigable enquiry path and the access detail written in as indexable content. Conformance was tested with a keyboard and a screen reader during the build, not assumed from a plugin.
The result is a site that does what the tours do — it removes the friction that was quietly excluding the customer. An accessible business selling through an inaccessible site is leaving its own audience at the door. This closes that door gap, and earns the searches nobody else bothered to answer.
