Pricing  /  GEO cost

How much does GEO cost for a travel brand?

Most of GEO is a one-off fix. The ongoing part is smaller than agencies selling it want you to think.

The short answer

GEO splits into two costs. The first is a one-off implementation — schema graph, crawler access, server-side rendering, llms.txt and answer-first rewrites of key pages — which is a project, not a retainer. The second is ongoing: monthly citation tracking, corroboration building and content maintenance, which is a modest addition to an existing SEO programme rather than a separate service.

The bands

Three levels, and what
separates them.

Band 01

Implementation

The one-off technical and content work that makes you a candidate at all.

$______one-off project
  • Connected entity and schema graph
  • robots.txt, llms.txt and crawler verification
  • Rendering audit and server-side fixes
  • Answer-first rewrites of money pages
  • Bing Webmaster setup and submission
  • Baseline citation report across the major assistants
Fine for:

any travel brand that hasn't done this yet.

Not fine for:

skipping — the ongoing work does nothing without it.

Band 02

Ongoing tracking

Monthly measurement and the slow work of corroboration.

$______per month
  • Monthly citation checks on your money queries
  • Answer-capsule additions to new content
  • Directory, review and PR corroboration
  • Competitor citation benchmarking
Fine for:

brands already running a content programme.

Not fine for:

brands expecting citations without publishing anything.

Band 03

Bundled with SEO

How most operators should actually buy it.

$______per month
  • GEO folded into the monthly SEO retainer
  • Shared technical work, no duplicate billing
  • One team, one plan, one report
Fine for:

almost everyone. The technical work overlaps heavily with SEO.

Not fine for:

brands who want to buy GEO alone and skip organic authority — AI Overviews still follow it.

PLACEHOLDER — insert your live 2026 figures in the three price fields before publishing. A cost guide without numbers doesn't rank and doesn't convert.

Why the range is a range

What actually moves the number.

Two operators of the same size can differ by a factor of three. These are usually why.

How your site rendersA server-rendered WordPress site needs configuration. A client-side React site may need re-architecting, and that's a development project.
How many pages need rewritingAnswer-first restructuring on twelve money pages is a week. On four hundred tour pages it's a programme.
Existing schemaSome sites have partial markup that can be extended. Others have none, or worse, markup that contradicts itself.
Corroboration gapIf nobody outside your own site mentions your brand, that's the slow and expensive part — and no amount of schema substitutes for it.
Number of brandsMulti-brand groups need a graph per entity, correctly linked. That multiplies the implementation, not the tracking.
Language coverageBeing cited in English and Arabic assistants are related but separate jobs.

Reading a quote

Five things that should
make you ask more questions.

!
GEO sold as a permanent high retainerThe bulk of GEO is one-off. An agency charging a large ongoing fee for it is selling you tracking at implementation prices.
!
No baseline measurementIf nobody recorded who gets cited for your queries before starting, nobody can prove anything changed.
!
Guaranteed AI citationsNo more possible than guaranteed rankings. Models change weighting without notice.
!
It's just SEO renamedAsk specifically about schema graphs, llms.txt, rendering and citation tracking. If none of those appear, it's a rebrand.
!
Blocking advice with no reasoningSome agencies advise blocking AI crawlers by default. For a tour operator that usually trades away visibility to protect a tour description.

Questions

Frequently asked

Is GEO worth paying for yet?

In Egyptian travel, yes — precisely because almost nobody is doing it. The cost of being early is low and the advantage lasts longer than it will once the market catches up.

How is GEO measured?

Not by rank. You take your money queries, run them through ChatGPT, Perplexity and AI Overviews monthly, and record whether your brand and domain appear. It's a citation count.

How long until we see citations?

Perplexity typically reflects changes in one to two weeks. ChatGPT often lags four to eight weeks. AI Overviews move on ordinary SEO timescales because they follow organic authority.

Can we do the implementation once and stop?

Partly. The technical foundation persists. But corroboration and freshness decay, and competitors will eventually do the same work — so the tracking is what tells you when to act again.

Does GEO replace our SEO budget?

No. Organic authority still feeds AI Overviews and still drives the traffic. Treat GEO as an extension of the same programme, sharing most of the technical work.
