Nile Cruises from Luxor to Aswan: 3 & 4-Night Nile River Cruises
Three- and four-night sailings on five-star vessels we contract directly, plus our own six-cabin dahabiya. Every cruise includes the shore excursions, the Egyptologist and the temple tickets — the price is the price.
Two ways to sail, both operated by us
Five-star cruisers on fixed schedules, or our own six-cabin dahabiya under sail. Either way your Egyptologist is on board and every temple ticket is in the price.

A Nile cruise, explained by the operator that books the cabins
A Nile cruise is three or four nights on a floating hotel between Luxor and Aswan, stopping at Kom Ombo, Edfu and Philae with the big temples of Luxor at one end. What varies is the ship, the deck, and above all who guides the shore excursions and whether the tickets are in the price. On every Nourbelle cruise your Egyptologist sails with you, the excursions and tickets are included, and the cabin is on the upper deck.
The dahabiya is the other way to sail: twelve guests, two sails, five nights from Esna to Aswan mooring at islands the cruisers cannot reach. It costs about three times a cruise cabin and suits travellers who want the river more than the pool deck.
What is included
Cabin, all meals on board, shore excursions with your Egyptologist, every temple ticket, transfers to and from the ship.
Not included
Drinks, tipping (guidance given), optional Abu Simbel and balloon.
Best months
October to April. Summer cruises run at lower prices with hot middays and quiet temples.
Book ahead
Upper-deck cabins on Saturday departures sell out 6–8 weeks ahead in high season.
Why sail the Nile with us
What travellers say about our Nile cruises
Pulled live from Tripadvisor, filtered to Nile cruises.
Upper-deck cabin as promised. Our guide sailed with us and every temple visit was before the crowds.
We saw one other boat in five days. Meals from the villages, swimming from the boat at Gebel Silsila.
Shorter sailing days, Kom Ombo and Edfu in the morning. The direction advice on the site was right.
