Who can get the visa on arrival
Passport holders from the US, UK, all EU and Schengen states, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea and around 30 further countries buy the visa on landing. The counter is a bank window in the arrivals hall, before passport control: hand over USD 25 in a clean note, receive a sticker, stick it in your passport, join the immigration queue. Five to fifteen minutes on a normal morning.
E-visa: worth it or not
The official e-visa portal is visa2egypt.gov.eg — USD 25 single entry, USD 60 multiple entry, up to seven working days to issue. We recommend it in three cases only: you want multiple entry for a Jordan side trip, you land on a late flight and want the fastest exit, or you are travelling with children and want one less queue.

What the officer asks for
Passport, the sticker or printed e-visa, and occasionally your first hotel name. That is all. Nourbelle guests are met inside the terminal before this point, so your representative is beside you at the counter and at immigration.
Sinai-only entry
Flying into Sharm el-Sheikh and staying in South Sinai for 15 days or fewer needs no visa — you receive a free Sinai stamp. If your itinerary includes Cairo or the Nile, you need the full visa.
