Treasury to the Royal Tombs is about 4 km on sand and stone; the Monastery adds 800 steps and is optional.

Egypt and Jordan in one trip, flawless handover

Nour in Egypt, then Omar in Jordan — both named in our itinerary a month before. Petra at 7am with nobody there.

Wadi Rum was the surprise

The camp night after Petra was the best evening of twelve. Three flights, all on time, all included.

Laura M · TorontoFeb 2026
Worth the extra four days

After the Nile, Petra felt like a different world. The Jordan Pass being included saved a queue at the border.
